Hello - I'm Hanna, and I curate this shop.

Every piece you see here passed through my hands first. I chose it, inspected it, photographed it, wrote about it, and packed it for you. There's no warehouse, no algorithm sourcing inventory, no team curating to a brief. Just one person who's spent years learning to recognise good design, good fabric, and good construction.

What I Look For

I don't chase trends. I look for pieces that will read as relevant in five years rather than five months - pieces designed before fashion became disposable. Vintage Galliano knits, 90s Moschino Cheap & Chic, structured Zimmermann linens, well-cut Prada silks. The kind of designer work that doesn't expire.

On Buying Pre-Loved Designer

I understand the hesitation. Spending real money on a pre-loved piece from a small, independent shop is different from clicking buy on a fast fashion site or trusting a major platform's promise.

Here's what I can tell you:

I don't source from categories prone to counterfeiting - that's how I avoid the problem, rather than trying to solve it after the fact. I work within designer brands I have years of experience with: the fabrics they use, the construction they favour, the labels and tags they put inside. If I'm not certain about a piece, it doesn't go in the shop.

Every item is inspected before listing. Light marks or smells are washed out. Heavier issues - go to professional dry cleaning. Every piece is steamed.

What arrives at your door feels ready to wear, not handed down.

Final Sale Doesn't Mean Buyer Beware

Final sale only works if I do my job carefully. So I do.

Measurements are taken flat and listed as a guide. Photographs are taken in natural light, unfiltered. Condition grades are honest. If a piece has a flaw, I'll show it and describe it - I'd rather lose a sale than oversell.

Before buying, please compare the measurements with something you already own that fits the way you want. That's the single most reliable way to know whether a piece will work for you - more reliable than a size label that varies wildly between designers.

A Small Business, Doing This Properly

LDW Threaded is one person, working from the UK. This shop began in 2022. It's grown slowly and deliberately, and that's by design - I'd rather offer fewer pieces I love than a large catalogue I don't know.
